FStateMan stands for The financial statement management system.
FStateMan downloads the electronic file (XBRL file) of financial statements
submitted to the Financial Services Agency of Japan (EDINET),
and then registers the downloaded XBRL files.
The XBRL file has a redundant file structure.
As a result, financial statements cannot be displayed easily and quickly.
FStateMan converts the XBRL file into financial statement format and registers it in the database.
This allows you to view and analyze financial statements instantly.
The financial statements will be presented in the same format as the submitted securities report.
Financial data is displayed as a time series data in a table or bar graph.
This allows you to intuitively predict the future financial condition of the company.
You can view financial data of multiple companies in parallel. (Displayed as a table or bar graph.)
In addition, you can display financial ratios such as operating profit margin for multiple companies in parallel.
The financial ratio is irrelevant to the size of the company and is suitable for comparing the financial status of multiple companies.
You can view the text information of the submitted documents as a PDF file.
You can refer to detailed information such as notes of securities report and segment information.
The registered financial data can be output to a csv file.
This makes it easy to process financial data.
This section describes the procedure for using FStateMan.
File description
When installing FStaeMan, the library folder is created in the package folder.
The contents of the package folder are automatically deleted when you uninstall FStateMan.
If you want to keep the financial data you have created, we strongly recommend that you set the library folder to another folder.
You can set the library folder in [File][Setting Library Folder]menu.
Code list file registration procedure
Select main menu [List of Documents].
The list of documents submitted on the same day or in the past is obtained from the EDINET site.
If you set the submission date to the same day, the documents submitted by the current time will be displayed.
In the settings, it is convenient to limit the types of documents displayed to securities reports only.
This is because when you register an XBRL file, you do not have to register any XBRL file other than the securities report.
On the "List of Documents" screen, select the required XBRL file and register it.
At this time, if the referenced taxonomy is not in the local environment, it will be automatically downloaded from the Internet.
"Registered company" file will also be updated.

Since the submitted documents are managed by ID, the submitted document list information is required to refer to the ID of the document to download.

The library folder consists of the following two folders.
[Note]
Since the library folder consists entirely of character string files, setting the compression attribute for this folder will save disk space.
It takes about half the space.
This folder contains files created by FStateMan.
Financial data for each company is stored in this folder.
EDINET taxonomy files are stored in this folder.
The taxonomy referenced when registering the XBRL file is automatically copied from the EDINET site to a local folder.
If the referenced taxonomy file exists locally, use that local file.
[Note]
When EDINET server is congested, the taxonomy file may not be able to be acquired normally from the server.
In such cases, we recommend downloading the taxonomy files directly from the EDINET site and copying them to a local folder.
How to download EDINET taxonomy and copy it to a local folder
FStateMan accesses the EDINET site of the Financial Services Agency.
An environment that can connect to the Internet is required.
